New Podcast Coming: Wonton Soup for the Soul

It's been really rainy here in Hawaii the past few days and I've been making soup. I don't know what the weather's like where you are, but if you're anywhere on the U.S. mainland, I imagine it's snowy and cold (except for areas that generally stay a bit warmer!).

Anyway, it's been a perfect time to stay inside and cozy up. I made this big pot of wonton soup (with enough for leftovers for me), and I thought I'd share it with you. It so quick, easy, and tasty!

So what does this have to do with finding focus?

Well, the rain made me absolutely unfocused. I found myself sitting on the couch, in my pajamas at noon, watching mindless TV. A couple of friends also told me they spent two days doing absolutely nothing, too! Someone told me there's an astrological thing going on that put people into a sort of lethargic funk, so that could've been the reason. Fortunately, that lifted and we should all be getting our energy back. If you ever find yourself having these types of moments, hours, or days, it's best to just relax and flow with it. There's always a reason for the season!

Anyway, I used the time to make comfort food, read, do some online shopping, and relax. This wonton soup is so good, you have to try it! The recipe is in the comments. It has baby bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, fresh ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil in chicken broth. I added extra wontons because you can never have too many!

This soup also inspire me to put together a new podcast that I'm working on. It'll be some comfort food for your mind and soul, some of my best tips for finding focus and navigating a new you into the new year.

Enjoy!
